2018
Chardonnay
Russian River Valley
Winemaker Notes
With lavish notes of white peach, spring flowers and Asian pear our 2018 Russian River Chardonnay delivers plenty of fresh fruit on the palate. There is light sweet spice baked apple with lightly honeyed orange rind interwoven with its silky elegant finish. The mouthfeel maintains a surprising weight and concentration on the mid-palate.
VINOUS Review
by Antonio Galloni
The 2018 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) is a pretty exuberant, heady wine. Orange confit, hazelnut, butter and spice give this mid-weight Chardonnay tons of personality. Tropical and exotic, yet medium in body, the 2018 shows the more exuberant side of Russian River Chardonnay off to great effect. —91 pts.

The Vineyards
Our Russian River Chardonnay is a blend of chardonnay from Sophia’s Vineyard, the Charles Heintz Vineyard and the SMJ Vineyard (clone 809). Typically the Russian River blend expresses itself fully earlier than our appellation wines.
