2017
Chardonnay
Russian River Valley

Winemaker Notes

With lavish notes of white peach, spring flowers and Asian pear our 2017 Russian River Chardonnay delivers plenty of fresh fruit on the palate. There is light sweet spice baked apple with lightly honeyed orange rind interwoven with its silky elegant finish. The mouthfeel maintains a surprising weight and concentration on the mid-palate.

VINOUS Review
by Antonio Galloni

The 2017 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) is such a pretty wine. Orange peel, pineapple and light toasted oak inflections add to its considerable appeal. The Peirson Meyer Russian River Chardonnay is one of my favorite wines in its peer group. —93 pts.

The Vineyards

Our Russian River Chardonnay is a blend of chardonnay from Sophia’s Vineyard, the Charles Heintz Vineyard and the SMJ Vineyard (clone 809). Typically the Russian River blend expresses itself fully earlier than our appellation wines.
