2016
Cabernet Sauvignon
Napa Valley

Winemaker Notes

With classic aromas of black cherries, plums, and blackberries our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon has a luscious elegant entry that opens to a broad and well structured palate. Spicy flavors of clove and anise highlight the deeper mineral notes of graphite and slate, with a hint of black truffle. These elements, with the delicious fruit create a wine that is age worthy, while being approachable in its youth.

VINOUS Review
by Antonio Galloni

Another stand out in this set of new releases, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is powerful and deep, but very much in the mid-weight style that defines the Peirson Meyer wines. Tobacco, cedar, smoke, leather and licorice add savoriness and nuance to this super-expressive Cabernet Sauvignon. This is an especially bright and elegant style for Kenefick Ranch. – 94 pts.
