2015
Chardonnay
Russian River Valley
Winemaker Notes
The 2015 Russian River Chardonnay presents plenty of fresh fruit up front with white peach and asian pear notes. There is a light graham cracker spice and subtle hints of candle wax that make the aromatics of this wine very compelling. The mouthfeel is pure and silky with an elegant entry and finish, but maintains a surprising weight and concentration on the mid-palate.
VINOUS Review
by Antonio Galloni
The 2015 Chardonnay (Russian River Valley) is super-expressive. Tangerine, apricot, chamomile, spice and lightly buttery notes are all laced together in the glass. The 2015 offers tons of Russian River character but remains gracious and light on its feet. This is another impeccable wine from Peirson Meyer. For its quality and price, the Russian River Chardonnay is the hidden gem in this range. – 91 pts.

The Vineyards
Our Russian River Chardonnay is a blend of chardonnay from Sophia’s Vineyard, the Charles Heintz Vineyard and the SMJ Vineyard (clone 809). Typically the Russian River blend expresses itself fully earlier than our appellation wines.
