2015
Pinot Noir
Sonoma Coast
Bateman Vineyard

Winemaker Notes

The unique site of the Bateman Vineyard is the origin of this Pinot’s muscular and defined structure. The palate is full, but the tannins are clearly round and elegant. With its dark inky color and exquisite notes of forest floor, sassafras, earth, black cherries and tea, our Bateman Pinot Noir will age beautifully for many years.

VINOUS Review
by Antonio Galloni

The 2015 Pinot Noir Bateman Vineyard is quite fresher and more nuanced than the Miller. Freshly cut flowers, sweet red cherries, mint and chalk give the Bateman its characteristic lifted profile. There is a sense of energy and tension to the Bateman that play off the natural richness of the year very nicely. – 95 pts.
