Peirson Meyer Pinot Noir, Sonoma Stage Vineyard

- Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate

2008 PEIRSON MEYER Pinot Noir, Sonoma Stage Vineyard, Sonoma Coast

The 2008 Pinot Noir Sonoma Stage Vineyard (made from the Swan and Calera California selections) reveals a darker color than the Russian River Pinot in addition to abundant aromas of forest floor, boysenberries, black cherries, earth and licorice. Revealing sweet tannin, a big, rich mouthfeel and moderate structure, it should be even better in 2-3 years and evolve for 8-10. -91 pts.
